Best BBQ In Orange County

More than just great BBQ we now have new Southern dinner options to choose from! We still offer all the same great slow smoked chicken, ribs, pork & Harris Ranch all natural California beef, but we have some great new menu items. Enjoy our 1-2 pound bacon cheeseburger on a soft pretzel bun, fried shrimp po’ boy or our home made buttermilk fried chicken with mashed potatoes, spinach & thyme gravy. Another specialty of the house is the 3 day pork chop. It is brinded for a day, then smoked & hand cut & grilled to order with the bone on & glazed with a creole mustard bourbon sauce.

We renovated the historic Garage built in 1915 and there is no better space to enjoy a game or meal with friends. We also have upgraded to full bar & offer free peanuts for you to enjoy.

History
Established in 2005
Our first Beach Pit BBQ was opened in Costa Mesa in 2005. We soon realized we needed more space so we looked to the great City of Tustin. We found this historic garage that was still a functioning mechanic shop at the time and decided to renovate the beautiful building and preserve the natural wood trusses and beautiful roof line and convert it to a gathering spot and restaurant. The space is quite large and while our other restaurant is counter service BBQ we felt that this building needed to be more especially at night. So we have added a full bar license, full service and some great new Southern menu items in addition to the traditional Beach Pit BBQ slow smoked BBQ options. We then rebranded it to the Tustin Roadhouse and think we have an authentic Southern Roadhouse experience right in the heart of the Old Town Tustin on the historic El Camino Real.
